We then read e-mails in which listeners reiterate how they enjoy the Asian stuff as opposed to the "strictly anime" stuff.

Download Episode Zero, here . Anime Pacific was a podcast that began in 2006, during the nascent era of podcasting. Unlike today's polished landscape, the podcast sphere was then almost entirely amateur-driven. How times have changed. Anime Pacific Remastered: Episode 8

I had forgotten how news-heavy the early episodes were. Rest assured, the news segement eventually disappears. We discuss the success of the live action film version of Dororo, which, we reported was going to be made into a trilogy. And that, dear listener, (sigh) let's say it together: Totally happened . We review the CG version of Appleseed. This signalled what I affectionally call the beginning of, "the shittening" of Shinji Aramaki. Go Nagai is the Anime person of the week.
